So how is the point system going to work V8?

In terms of structure i minor tweaked it, But giving out bonus when we can, hidden icons like this and other events TQ has like live video shows TQfam who register on the forum and post a comment get bonus points.

Since there will be more points handed out now and i tweaked the amount for regular posting im currently looking at some special edition rank icons that display when a user has reached 1000, 2000, 3000 and so on points.

Currently users need to be a staff member or TQ-Club member to put a signature on there profile, the more points a user has the more they will unlock like sigs, special avatars and the rank icons, also looking at creating a extra forum that only once you get to a certain rank will you have access to that forum, kinda like a dedicated TQ-fam area for those who supported TQ.
Then you have your side Desz were you could give out prizes to TQ-fams, members who have an amount of TQ points will go into the draw to win at special events.

Just simple but give good rewards like sig avatars and the odd chance of a prize.

The move Party is another event that we can look at, all members who attend the Move party can get some bonus TQpoints. This will be as simple as the user posts a reply on the Move party thread and they will be gifted there bonus points.

Nice V8! Yeah, we can definitely give out $10 PSN cards or XBL Points monthly, and every few months have bigger prizes. This is great!

I love all the new features you are rolling out.

Would there be any capablity for user's to donate their points to other users as a way to give them extra props? Dead Pixel Live does something like that.

JoE there is a way to donate point, however it can only be done by admins, as such it will become very confusing and dont think we will go down that road.

However the best way to give fellow friends some props is to use the TQ Reputation system, to the right of someone post there is a + and - simply click the plus to add 1 point, and hitting the thanks button will give them 3 TQ rep points.
