Review by Olivia Martha

Tequila Don Eduardo Reposado is a 100% Weber Blue Agave tequila which
is carefully hand selected for better quality. This tequila is rested
for six months in 100-year-old White American oak vats to give it a
naturally mellowed expression. Don Eduardo Reposado is a wonderfully
crafted brand of tequila which was given the name of the companies
founder, Don Eduardo Orendain Gonzalez. Due to the use of 100% blue
agave sugars during the fermentation process, it becomes very fresh and
easy on the nose and palate. Not only was I impressed by the rich
smoothness of this tequila but also by its unique flavor.

Don Eduardo Reposado has a very inviting smell which makes your mouth
water. When you first open the bottle the scent is floral and softly
herbal. There is a bit of a peppery sting to the nose but only enough
for you to enjoy its aroma. The aroma is only the opener to the luscious
flavor of Don Eduardo Reposado.

Once this tequila hits your lips there is an explosion of flavor. It
starts with a structured palate entry then erupts into featured flavors
of chocolate, honey and sweet floral tastes. The finish is what really
impressed me because it is long sweet, spicy and peppery. There is a bit
of a sting but not the kind of sting that makes you sick. It’s the kind
of burn that is enjoyed while drinking well produced tequila.

Overall, Don Eduardo Reposado is a complex and unique tequila. It’s
creation is very well thought out and stands up to the pride and history
of tequila. The only downfall of this tequila is the price. It is not
too expansive but enough to make you think twice before buying it. I do
recommend this tequila for a special occasion. It’s the kind of tequila
that will brighten the mood.
